OmniFocus 2 App Reviews

Im using OF on iOS only. With the release of OF 2 for both iPhone and iPad has become an a perfect tool for me. While the learning curve is somewhat steep to make full use of it, it now is my "trusted system". New users might want to check out Asian Efficiency to speed up the learning process. I am in no way connected to OF or Asian efficiency.

I use this app every day, it is so important to my workflow. The watch app is perfectly designed as well.

i hated this app at first. way more expensive than 5$ todo apps like 2do and appigos todo.. but now i love it. mostly because they have included features that have really changed my life.. like the perspectives feature (need upgrade to pro). and also because i follow macsparkys approach to gtd of using flagged projects and deferring them instead of due dates! due dates stress a person out for no good reason. anyway, i hated the app because it couldnt do things it should do. now it is the best one around the one improvement this needs is to allow for batch adjustment of due dates or defer dates.. only possible on the mac. this should be a no-brainer. i get around this problem by creating a new perspective and putting urgents in there by symbol (find %% in text, etc). to manage when things really explode. then i go back to my original perspective list when the urgents are done (GTD methodology) thank you omni folk. it is worth the money if you are able to use it.

Has every feature you could think of in an intuitive interface. I came to Omni after years of using others apps, I didnt need this till now. Tracking multiple projects, nested folders, task attachments- this is it.

All the functionality you would expect for such an expensive solution but the interface is plain and unimaginative. Loved OF1 but the plain text on a blank piece of paper look has the empty feel of a Microsoft product. I found it hard on the eyes as there are no distinct lines or boxes between tasks. Just not enjoyable to use.

Thank you OmniGroup for continuing to improve OmniFocus on both the mac and iPhone. Amazing recent update on the mac.

The best GTD app. I have tried several and nothing beats OmniFocus.

Can you add the ability of creating action for project within custom perspectives?

Really loving the app. I was a long time user of todo matrix and I like this even better. Its great that I can sync across many devices and can organize all my projects. I am particularly loving that I can forward emails directly to become action items and also the "review" feature to help keep me on track.

Omnifocus is an incredible app that, quite literally, organizes my whole life. While it may seem expensive when compared to other apps, the support is top notch, the product is mature, and it consistently gets better. Id easily pay three times as much considering the value I get out of this app.

Unrivaled superiority. If youre reading a review of OmniFocus we can assume youre a bit of a productivity nut. This app completes the search for you. The iOS version is every bit as powerful and complete as the OS X version. The Apple Watch integration is pretty slick and makes geofenced contexts far more powerful since youre more likely to notice a tap on your wrist rather than your phone in a noisy environment (when out and about). Great support and updates from a top-of-the-class development studio.

Omnifocus is an excellent tool that helps me be more productive everyday. Its simple but powerful, stable and reliable.

Keeps my work life sane.

This is an amazing app that keeps getting updated with fixes and improvements. Its well worth the money as the value is much higher than buggy apps that dont get updated. When you buy an app from The Omni Group youre assured of quality and their support is second to none! This is why I choose Omnificus 2 over others Ive tried.

Love the iOS version of OmniFocus. Great interface and design.

Please fix this. Since Im using the app in Japanese, some terms may differ. 1. Go to Home -> Contexts -> Available Actions -> Search 2. Search and select a completed activity 3. Once selected the activity, "Done" button doesnt work again

OmniFocus is phenomenal. Once you spend some time to understand how it works and truly trust it (like David Allen preaches), it becomes virtually irreplaceable. The iPhone version is sometimes counterintuitive, occasionally feels combative, but that is mitigated by its worth otherwise.
