Youre reading this because you wonder if omnifocus is suited for your needs and/or if its worth the money.

It is.

If they added templates it would be perfect but it still is by far the best gtd app (but not just that, i dont use it in a regular gtd-style but have slightly modified it, just like anyone who uses omnifocus for a longer time) and its also very good to modify the interface to suit your preferences.

I can also recommend pro, at least for anyone who is willing to also spend several hours to set it up properly.
